Katherine Frank Creative, a premier exhibit design, experiential activation and events management agency, has formed a new partnership with WRX, a full-service exhibit, event and scenic fabrication team. They will share the same ownership group, MEZ Corp, while remaining separate companies and retaining their names, teams and current headquarters. Both companies focus on providing a personalized trade show and special event experience for their clients. “While the general disposition in the exhibit and event industry is not the most positive right now due to the effects of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we truly believe this new business venture, and our new ownership, will allow Katherine Frank Creative to service and support our client base in more ways than we could before,” explained Frank and Kathy Cacciato, CEO and president of Katherine Frank Creative, respectively. “This partnership will bring about positive changes for everyone, including our client partners who remain the top priority for both Katherine Frank Creative and WRX. We are confident that WRX’s increased manufacturing resources, capabilities and team will make Katherine Frank Creative stronger and more competitive in the experiential event design and production industry and increase our abilities to provide even better service to our clients.” The Cacciatos plan to be involved in day-to-day operations for Katherine Frank Creative, as they slowly phase out their responsibilities and management roles. They will look to vice president Marissa Hohner to continue to lead the sales and marketing efforts, as she transitions into general management over future business operations. Hohner will work alongside WRX's leadership team to ensure mutual growth and development is achieved. “We are committed to managing the agency and working with our clients with the same family-owned and operated culture with which we founded the business,” they said. “We will ensure a smooth transition, as we move toward retirement in the next few years.” Katherine Frank Creative’s capabilities and focus will not change during this transition. In fact, thanks to the partnership with WRX, the agency will offer new, advanced, in-house production capabilities featuring state of the art fabrication and printing equipment.
